Amici's is a pretty good Italian place. The best part of it is that it will deliver large orders of pizza, pasta, salad, and rolls to your team's hotel.
Visit UC Berkeley
Take a drive to Berkeley. Make sure you get up in the campanili (the huge bell tower in the middle of campus) for a bird's-eye-view of the Bay. If you're there at noon you'll get a concert- they do everything from Greenday to Bach on those things. While you're there don't miss the chance to wander down Telegraph Avenue- there's always something interesting going on there.
San Francisco
Visit San Francisco. Take a cable car down to pier 39 and see hundreds of sea lions chilling out on the docks.
Muir Woods
If you still have some time and energy take a walk in the Muir woods. Your mom will love seeing the Reedwood trees. Also, if you're mom is from Ohio, she'll be getting a huge kick out of the weather. She will probably say one of the following at least forty times per trip: "I just can't believe the weather out hear." "I just can't believe the traffic out here."
