Once all the parts of the garment are combined in the right order, including any embellished pieces, the Sewing Of Parts commences. Our sewers are not paid by the piece. An hourly wage for work done thoughtfully results in a higher quality product than one sewn for speed. Sewers are assigned to tasks according to their skill and knowledge of our product. Some of these workers have been with us for over 20 years—they become the leaders and the teachers. This continuity, and our sewers’ pride in their work helps us to maintain our high level of quality manufacture.
