Use your club/team logo to embellish your garment, or create something new. We do custom embroidery, silkscreening, and applique. Our design department can work from existing embroidery, camera ready artwork, or your faxed sketches. Prices for setup and per piece costs are outlined below.

Typestyle

Choose a typestyle and design for your embroidery and/or silkscreen. Other styles are available. Any typestyle can be used in any design layout. For putting text down stripes, see the font choices in the stripes section.

Silkscreen

For big, bold logos, for text down an armstripe or the side of a suit, nothing beats silkscreen. With special attention to detail, we use a new, pliant ink for our stretchable fabrics, which adds flexibility and longer life to images applied to suits and technical shirts. Send us files or fax us your artwork, see artwork for file types and instructions on sending art to us via email.

Setup Charges
Per order charge of $25 for the first color, call for quote on additional colors. Artwork charged at $35 per hour, if needed.

Application Charges (per piece)
Add to garment price at appropriate quantity level, minimum $36 per job, plus setup charges.

Call for quote if you require more colors or four-color process

* Stretch Fabrics - Applies to printing on any fabric that contains Lycra, including front or back logos or text, printing on armstripes, vertical stripes on suits, half-shorts and tights.

**T's or Sweats or Jackets - Includes knits and woven fabrics that do not have any special handling needs.

Embroidery

Your logo, your team name and graduating year, your name or team name on a collar or down a stripe. They all look outstanding when embroidered on your custom garment. Setup Charges
One-time (forever) charge to digitize logo for use on embroidery machines, quoted individually. Any artwork charged separately, if needed. Some in-stock logos will not incur setup charges. Changes to existing logo files will be quoted separately. No setup charge for Text using our in-stock fonts.
We can use your existing embroidery files, saving you a setup charge. some files may need to be adjusted for optimal quality, charges may apply. Mail or email files in Tajima format (must include color sequence information). See artwork for file types and instructions on sending art to us via email.Call with any questions on how to obtain and send your existing files.

* Logo - based on 7,000 stitches. Logos larger than 7,000 stitches, add $.50 per thousand.

**Text on Collar - Helvetica bold, all capital letters. Limit 5 letters on collars to retain stretch and insure comfort.

***Arm embroidery - Price is per arm, using Helvetica Bold, all capital letters. Limit 7 letters down armstripe. Other styles available.

****Leg embroidery - Embroidery down a vertical stripe of tights or shorts. Price is per leg, based on 7,000 stitches, add $.50 per thousand in excess of 7,000 stitches. Can use text or logo.

Applique

Applique works best with large, bold letters, but can also enhance a big logo. Bright tackle twill is sewn onto the garment with thick satin stitch embroidery as a border. Looks great on jackets, sweats, and suits. We have stock letters in plain or athletic block (shown below), or you can request custom styles, and of course custom artwork. Applique letters can be arranged in a line or an arc, simply let us know your ideas and we'll make them real.

Custom logos - $100 one-time charge, $25 reorder charge.
Applique (text only, see stock text below) - One-time setup charge, $5 per letter, minimum $10 per job.

Text on Collars and Stripes

To embroider text on the collar of your custom technical shirt we use Helvetica Bold, all capital letters. We prefer to embroider no more than five letters to retain stretch and ensure comfort, but you can request more letters, and even logos. For text there is no setup charge. The cost to put text on the collar depends on the number of garments, 1-8 garments is $6, 9-35 garments $3.50, 36-59 garments $2.50, and more than 60 garments only $2 per shirt. You can order text on the collar of your technical shirts when you speak to our order desk.

Text Down a Stripe
A bold way to let them know you're coming. You can put large text down an armstripe or a vertical stripe on a suit, even down a pair of trou or tights. We will enlarge and spread your text as needed for maximum visibility.

Text down a stripe can be oriented either Vertically or Horizontally. Your text will be 1.5" wide within a 2" wide finished stripes. Standard length of text is 17 inches long, but can be longer for an additional charge.

Stacked Text Vertically stacked text is the same on either side of the body, can be read from all angles. See Wisconsin image above.	Horizontal Text Horizontal text is directional, different on each side of the body. On the arm, it is best read when arm is reaching forward. On tights or shorts it is best read when leg is bent (sitting in boat).
	These are the most visible styles for stripes on arms, down suits, trou or tights, shown stacked. For horizontal version of fonts see typestyles. Please specify your choice when ordering.

Setup Charges
There is a one-time (per order setup charge of $25 for each color. There is no artwork charge if you use our standard fonts, shown above.

Artwork

Our design department can work from existing embroidery, camera ready artwork, your faxed sketches or computer files. Artwork submitted on disk or via e-mail will speed up production. Keep in mind that tiff, jpeg, and gif are generally of very low resolution and may need work, vector files are best.

Hardcopy
Fax or mail hardcopy to us. Clear black and white artwork with detailed color call-outs, or color copies of existing logos will ensure accurate reproduction. Some artwork charges may apply.

We can accept computer files in these formats, either Mac or PC (please note the program version). Call or email if you have any questions.
